The owner is a plastic surgeon and a keen music lover. She was looking for a visual and audio aesthetic that recreated her childhood home. The challenge in this installation was to strike the perfect balance between cutting-edge technology and vintage aesthetics. The equipment needed to offer modern functionality \u2014 with simple controls and compact design \u2014 while also evoking the emotional resonance that vintage-style gear brings to the client, reminiscent of her childhood home.<\/p>

For the living room, the client requested the design of custom-built loudspeakers that would evoke the visual and sonic impact of the audio systems from her childhood. We developed the Custom VII: crafted with wooden cabinets and Altec horns, a nod to the golden age of high-fidelity audio. Installed in the heart of the house \u2014 a spacious, light-filled room with wooden beams and garden views \u2014 the setup is completed by a Cambridge Audio EVO 150, an all-in-one amplifier and streamer that allows for effortless playback from any mobile device.\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

In the private practice, located in the gallery area of the home, the goal was to deliver pure, immersive sound at low volume, suitable for playing soft music or ambient sounds during treatments. We installed a pair of bookshelf speakers with Tannoy components, vintage HiFi icons that were updated by ifAUDIO for optimal performance. This system is paired with an Arcam Solo Uno, another compact all-in-one streamer amplifier.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The result in both environments exceeded expectations: two cutting-edge systems, user-friendly and delivering a sound quality that evokes the golden era of HiFi, tailored to today\u2019s lifestyle and aesthetic.
