We designed the HiFi audio system for this wine shop located in Palermo, a space that not only offers a refined selection of wines but also hosts wine tasting events.<\/p>

The installation was carefully crafted to extend the sensory experience of wine lovers, blending audio and atmosphere to deliver maximum enjoyment. The challenge was twofold: on one hand, to install an interconnected audio system that could cover multiple areas of the venue; on the other, to do so with minimal visual interference, preserving the aesthetic integrity of the space.<\/p>

The owner aimed to provide high-clarity background music during wine tasting events \u2014 enhancing the experience without distracting from the main activity of the business. The sound had to be discreet yet effective, present without being intrusive.<\/p>

The project included the main hall, a private office\/tasting area, and the outdoor space at the rear of the venue, each with its own acoustic considerations and integration needs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Together with the client, we chose a system composed of high-sensitivity, low-distortion speakers, combined with a central amplification setup featuring a routing matrix that allows for precise, independent control of each sound zone.<\/p>

The core of the system includes a Monitor Audio IMS-4 streamer, which connects to the network and easily integrates with services like Spotify, Amazon Music HD, TIDAL, Deezer, or Qobuz, providing immediate access to high-quality music from any device. This is complemented by a Lexicon DD-8 routing and amplification matrix, offering eight independent 125 W channels capable of sending amplified audio across long distances without signal loss or interference, ensuring clean and powerful reproduction throughout all areas. This configuration allows for centralized control of the entire system, providing essential flexibility for managing audio during dynamic wine tasting events.<\/p>

Speaker selection was tailored to the characteristics of each space. In the main hall and the private office\/tasting room, we installed KEF Ci200.2CR in-ceiling speakers, which deliver high-quality audio with minimal visual impact, preserving the aesthetic of the venue. For the outdoor area, we used Monitor Audio Climate 60 speakers \u2014 full-range models designed for outdoor use, offering excellent performance and weather resistance.<\/p>
